HERE’S A BIT MORE ABOUT US..

ABOUT USHAKOV HOCKEY

Ushakov Hockey exists solely for individual player development. We focus on every little detail in your game, from skating to stickhandling, shooting, passing, physicality and beyond. We believe in fully developing your skill set so you can be a key to the puzzle for your team and excel in your hockey career.

We are a young and small coaching staff that believe in Quality over Quantity, we connect with younger athletes and share our experiences and give the best possible advice we can to further help them understand the game and excel as a hockey player to be the best player they can be on and off the ice.

Ushakov Hockey is located out of Salt Lake City, Utah.
Founded in New York in late 2022.

WHAT WE BELIEVE.

We believe each hockey player should be working and developing their individual skill set. Whether that be skating, stickhandling, shooting, passing, or physical contact. In order to become a valuable asset on your team and compete in games where systems are now being used you first need to sharpen your individual skills. A hockey player may know how to fully run a system or a set play, but if they player is unable to skate, make a pass, or shoot then what good are they in that set play? Mind, Body, and Technique will allow you to become an exceptional player.

OVERLOADING

Ushakov Hockey is known for our “crazy drills”, “obstacle courses”, “too many cones”, “So many turns”.
Our goal is to overload a players mind, so they are constantly thinking while moving at a fast pace. We create unrealistic scenarios that are hard to get around and overload your mind and body so when game time comes you have more time, more space, more freedom and the game will feel slower to the player allowing the player to make the right plays while not feeling under pressure.
