Why Ushakov Hockey?
As formers players, who has played and made the same mistakes players are still making today, we’re here to fix that. We have an amazing ability to connect and relate to each hockey player forming a relationship and we care about each person not just as a hockey player but as a person and we truly want to see everyone develop and maximize their potential.
We know what it takes and beyond to get to the next level and we are here to help you up the ladder, and help you develop and get you to the top. Perfection may never be achieved but it must be your goal.
YURI USHAKOV
USHAKOV HOCKEY HEAD COACH / OWNER
Born and raised in Upstate New York. Yuri grew up always playing at the highest level of youth hockey in the Northeast/New England area with the Clifton Park Dynamo AAA which allowed Yuri to experience tough yet once in a lifetime opportunities, such as the Brick Tournament with the Rangers, The Quebec Peewee International Tournament with the Dix Hills Chiefs AA his first year when he played up, and was lucky enough to go again the following year with his age group with the Adirondack Jr. Wings AAA. States, Nationals, and many more tournaments..
After Yuri’s junior hockey career, Yuri began to pursue coaching and scouting for the next chapter of his career. Creating Ushakov Hockey, Coach with the Park City Ice Miners, and an NCDC’ Scout.
- Drafted at 15 to the Syracuse Stars | NCDC
- Drafted at 16 to the Peterborough Petes | OHL
- Played 9 Pre-Season OHL games with the Pete’s
- Tendered Odessa Jackalopes in 2021 | NAHL
- Offered Commitment to Union College NCAA D1 in 2021
